For the Live Action Ghost in the Shell Remake
Ghost in the Shell is seen as one of the cornerstones of Japanese cinema. So when it was announced that Hollywood was making a live action adaptation, there was grumbling. After Scarlett Johansson’s casting was confirmed, there was anger. Now the first clips have dropped and it doesn’t seem horrific. Instead of a traditional trailer, 5 quick clips were uploaded and left for people to digest. The response online is a general sense of “that was better than I expected”.

For Rob Zombie
Rock star director, Rob Zombie, received some poor feedback about his Halloween film when it was released. 9 years later the helm of the original, John Carpenter, has broken his silence too. “I thought that he took away the mystique of the story by explaining too much” explained Carpenter. However his criticisms didn’t end at just the 2007 movie, about Zombie himself Carpenter said “He lied about me. He said that I was very cold to him. Nothing could be further from the truth.” Drama!

Let’s do it, welcome to the bizarro world where we report a bad week for The Rock. Set pictures dropped for the upcoming Jumanji movie but the revealing outfit for Karen Gillan caused a stir which Johnson had to quickly try contain on Twitter. It was too late and the outrage was done.
*this is assuming you were brought up in the 1990s.
